Stacy’s Story
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes that a touch of humor goes a long way in the counseling process. I combine this with compassion and empathy, and work with clients to understand their current life situation, develop goals that are manageable, and find a resolution.
I bring 15 years of experience to my work at Modern Psychiatry. Here, I provide initial psychosocial screenings and mental health assessments to identify each client’s needs. Then, working with individuals and their families, I develop treatment goals that address those individual client needs.
The manner in which I engage with clients is consistent: I use a positive, warm, and non-judgmental approach to build trust, while exploring and learning more about a client’s personality, thought processes, strengths, and unique life experiences.
I describe myself as witty, tenacious, and a “New Orleans girl” who loves her pup Marley along with music, road trips, museums, painting, cooking, and being outside in nature. Spending time with family and friends tops my list of favorite things to do.
